Frequently Asked Questions
Mini-Mixers are for people open to all types of connections. When you complete the questionnaire, you will select which types of connections you are open to (Friends, Romantic, or Professional) and we will match you with a group looking for similar connections.
We do have a "No Hunting" policy at BLYSS Social Club.
This means that we encourage you to come with the intention of enjoying the activity and meeting new people — not to come with a check list of what you are looking for and close yourself off to connections that don't immediately align with the list. (Nobody likes to feel like they're being judged on if they're "worth" going in for the kill)
Mini-Mixers create casual opportunities for those connections to happen without the pressure that comes with forcing them (like speed friending, singles mixers, or dating apps).
At least 24 hours before the Mini-Mixer, you will receive an email with instructions on where and how to meet your group. This will include a meeting location and information on how to communication with your group when you're almost there to notify them of your arrival and any slight delays.
Since our Mini-Mixers are mini, your presence is highly valued. Please reserve last minute cancellations and no shows for emergencies so everyone is able to get the most out of their experience.
If you need to cancel: you will receive weekly emails leading up to the event with a link to cancel. You can also email us at any time to cancel (info@blyssbaltimore.com). If you cancel 48 hours or more before the Mini-Mixer, you will receive a credit for your next Mini-mixer. There are no refunds.
There will be no refunds or credits in situations of:

Not showing up to a Mini-Mixer that you registered for (without cancelling at least 48 hours in advance)

Arriving 15+ minutes late (reported by group members)

Cancelling with less than 48 hours notice

If there is extreme weather that would impact the experience (i.e. rain, snow, natural disaster), the Mini-Mixer will be cancelled and rescheduled. All guests will be notified prior to the Mini-Mixer and you will receive a credit for your next Mini-Mixer.
